Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed, have become parents for the first time.

Mercy Chinwo and pastor Blessed Uzochikwa welcomed their first child together on Friday. The singer disclosed this in a post on her Instagram page. Unveiling her bump in a music video featuring her husband, titled “You Do This One,” Mercy expressed gratitude to God for their new addition.

She wrote, “Lord, we are grateful. We approach your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving. [You] filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed, you do this one.”

A few months ago, Mercy Chinwo’s husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, took to social media to declare his undying love for her while celebrating her new project.

Mercy Chinwo released her highly anticipated EP Elevated today, Friday, April 14th—her latest project after splitting from her previous record label, Eezee Concept.

On his Instagram page, he shared photos of some behind-the-scenes moments from the project and narrated how he had to wear many hats for its success.

Sharing the photos, he noted that when a man loves a woman, he becomes everything to her.
