Tope Alabi Receives Accolades From US House of Representatives

Tope Alabi, a Nigerian gospel singer, film music composer and actress was recently recognised by the US House of Representatives during her music concert in Houston, Texas.
Sharing a video from the event, Tope dedicated the certificate of recognition to her creator and hinted that it was a big surprise.
She wrote, “I DEDICATE THIS TO JESUS! This came to me as a surprise. I want to say a big thank you to the U.S. House of Representatives, Houston Texas under Congress woman, Sheila Jackson Lee.

It can be recalled that in 2016, Tope Alabi received a Proclamation Award from New York Senate, for her contribution in uniting people together through her gospel music.

According to the New York Senate, the award was to encourage her to continue her good works in betterment of her community and being a role model to many.
