Tope Alabi Set to Release First Movie

Indigenous Nigerian Gospel Artist, Tope Alabi has got something big on the way for all her fans in the gospel circle and beyond with her new movie titled The Weight.
The celebrated songstress who has blessed fans and music lovers with her inspiring songs during the production of the movie said, “Finally, I am on the location of my film titled The Weight. It is going to be a blessing to you all as it sets to deliver you completely from all satanic webs. This is the first all-gospel artiste movie in Nigeria.”
She also revealed some of the celebs starring in the forthcoming film, including Tosin Martins, Mike Abdul, Ibitayo Jeje, Blessyn, G Minor, Bidemi Olaoba, Efe Nathan, Tosin Alao, Anny, Enkay, Chigozie, Big Bolaji, Psalmos, Nikki Laoye, Saco and More.
‘The Weight’ is produced by Tope Alabi and directed by Ayoola Benedict. The film focuses on love, deception and God’s compassion.
Tope Alabi revealed ‘The Weight’ was meant to draw everyone to drop all their loads and come to Christ to get the deserved rest.
She said, “I am producing and acting (in the movie). I played the role of a lady called Wuraola. On the inspiration behind the movie, whatever a child of God does must be inspired by the Holy Spirit.”
She added, “I felt God wanted me to shoot a Christian movie to win more souls to Christ because souls are perishing due to a lack of knowledge. When God started giving me stories, I realised that it was a move for me to shoot a movie. The story is inspired by the Holy Spirit. He wants everybody to drop all their loads so that he would give them rest.”
“It was not stressful at all. As a matter of fact, it was awesome gathering music ministers together because they made up my cast. All they do is singing but I got to see them in another light.” Tope Alabi said in an interview.
‘The Weight’ movie is scheduled for release on the 29th of January 2023 on Tope Alabi’s YouTube channel.
