Following the success of Season 3, “The Chosen” is back filming for the Season 4, exciting over 100 million fans worldwide.

In a recent Instagram post by “The Chosen,” the creators revealed an update about the series. Just this week, they kicked off filming Season 4.

The Chosen posted a photo of the set’s clapperboard and wrote, “We’re back.”

According to Christian Headlines, the set started filming in Midlothian, Texas. It’s the place where The Chosen team created a village in a 900-acre home. The village depicted the setting of the first century, over 2,000 years ago. They also built a “30,000-square-foot soundstage” in the place.

The actor who portrayed Andrew, Noah James, told the outlet that the set actually “feels like you’re in Capernaum, 2,000 years ago.”

“It’s unbelievable..” he remarked. “You feel like you can really seep yourself in the time and feel the authenticity.”

The worldwide hit faith-based series now has over 100 million viewers, according to the report by Angel Studios. The studio revealed how the film reached a total of “500 million” streams in its “recent months.” Further, it also made history as it is the highest crowdfunded media project of all time.

Indeed, The Chosen has touched and changed the lives of many worldwide. Although some believers did not agree with how the story was relayed in the film, it immensely helped many people to know Christ.
