Real Talk Kim: “Stop Ignoring Your Discernment”
By Marie
Real Talk Kim recently in a post said: “STOP ignoring your discernment. You over there treating God’s red flags like a green light. If your gut tells you there is something not right, stop! You know every time you run a spiritual red light, you get into an accident.”
These words challenge us to listen more closely to the guidance God places in our hearts. When we sense those spiritual red flags, it’s not just a coincidence, it’s God trying to protect us, to steer us away from potential harm. Just as running a red light in traffic can lead to a devastating accident, ignoring God’s warnings can lead to spiritual, emotional, or even physical harm.
We must learn to trust God’s voice over our desires. Even when it’s difficult, even when we want something so badly that we’re tempted to ignore His warnings, we must remember that God sees the bigger picture. He knows what’s best for us, and His discernment is a gift meant to guide us toward His perfect plan.
So today, choose to listen. Don’t treat those red flags like green lights. Trust God’s discernment, and allow His wisdom to lead you on the path of righteousness.
