The CAC Ikeja Zone’s 21st Anniversary Celebration, tagged the “21st Ikeja Day Celebration,” was marked with a Thanksgiving service on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the zonal headquarters in Lagos. This event commemorated the zone’s creation.

Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele, represented by the General Secretary, Pastor Emmanuel Ezekiel Mapur, emphasised, “Our duty as ministers of God is to keep the fire constantly burning on the altar. This requires significant spiritual effort.”

He said that as children of God, we are called to serve Him without blemish. “To serve God,” he explained, “we need spiritual gifts, which are given to us as tools for our service.”

Pastor Oladele explained that there are 15 spiritual gifts and they are abilities given to us believers by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of building the church and service.

In his words, “These 15 gifts are those of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, exhortation, giving, administration, mercy, healing, miracle, faith, discernment, diverse tongues and interpretation.”
