Reach Australia to Plant 300 Churches By 2030
By Church News
The initiative by Reach Australia to plant 300 churches by 2030 is a significant move in the face of changing religious landscapes.
With 145 churches already established, the network aims to plant an additional 155 churches to meet its goal. This plan not only seeks to address the spiritual needs of communities but also involves the development of 800 new Gospel work leaders, highlighting a robust approach to church growth and leadership training.
Derek Hanna, the director of Plant for Reach Australia, shared this vision at the network’s national conference in May, urging church leaders to embrace the challenge.
Hanna said: “You might think it’s impossible, but we believe in a God who raised Jesus from the dead. That’s impossible too!
“This is not triumphalism, but an acknowledgement of what God is doing at this moment in history.”
