Pastor Ibiyeomie on Choosing Bishop Oyedepo as Spiritual Father

Speaking to his members on the topic: Who is Your Spiritual Father?, the leader of the Salvation Ministry, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, revealed why he chose the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, to be his spiritual father.
He said he chose Bishop Oyedepo because God told him in a revelation that he should meet Bishop Oyedepo. He said God gave him the revelation after he had prayed and asked God to show him who his spiritual father is.
He added that spiritual fatherhood is a lifetime journey and everyone should stick to the one God revealed to him.
In the video, Pastor David Ibiyeomie said, “Did you ever pray to say, ‘God, who is my spiritual father?’ You don’t choose fathers.
“I abandoned other Pastors and chose Bishop Oyedepo to be my spiritual father because God told me in a revelation that he is my spiritual father.
“God told me to follow him, and there is no way I will say he is not my father. Somebody even came to confirm what God told me. If God has showed you your spiritual father, stick to him”.
Pastor David Ibiyeomie became born again in 1995. After he gave his life to Christ, he discovered his divine calling, and by the reason of that, he is a Pastor and teacher of the Gospel.
Pastor David Ibiyeomie’s decision was influenced through divine guidance to be trained under a great servant of God, Bishop David Oyedepo. He attended full time Bible School in the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI), an arm of David Oyedepo’s Ministries in 1995.
In the course of his training, he was greatly influenced by Bishop Oyedepo’s Ministry standards and impact.
