The Founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo celebrates his 40th  wedding anniversary with his wife Pastor Faith Oyedepo.

While schooling at the University of Ife, Faith met David Oyedepo who was then a student of Kwara Polytechnic at a motor park in 1976. They courted for about 6 years and in 1982, he married Florence Abiola Akano (now known as Faith Oyedepo).

Bishop Oyedepo once said during a sermon while appraising his wife Faith, he said,  “I was in courtship with my wife then, she was my fiancee. I documented my vow and I invited her.

“We entered into a church and I showed her the vow. Would you still be willing to follow me, even though I become blind, lame or handicapped? I asked her and she said yes. I asked her to sign and she did”.

Congratulations to the couple have since poured in across the various social media platforms, one of which was from the long Jumper  Ese Brume who won gold at the recent Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

She wrote, “Happy 40th anniversary to my spiritual parents. Love you, mummy and daddy.”

Also, Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministry took to his Facebook page to send them good wishes and acknowledge the goodness of God in their lives and their marriage over the years.

He said, “with great pleasure in my heart, I, on behalf of my wife and family, and Salvation Ministries, wish our highly valued patriarch and matriarch in the faith, Bishop David and Pastor(Mrs.) Faith Oyedepo a glorious 40th Marriage Anniversary.”

The couple both have four children together (David Jr, Isaac, Love and Joyce).

David Oyedepo Jr and Isaac Oyedepo were ordained as Pastors in May 2007 by Kenneth Copeland.

David Oyedepo Jr formerly pastored the London Branch of the Church with his wife, Kemi but is now the resident pastor of the Ministry’s headquarters church (Faith Tabernacle) while Isaac Oyedepo pastors Winners’ Chapel International, Maryland, in the United States of America with his wife Ayomitide.

His first daughter Love is married to Stephen Ogah, who also pastors in Winners’ Chapel while Joyce Priscilla, the last child and second daughter is married to Abimbola Abodunrin.
