A pastor in Prescott, Arizona, has stirred controversy after publicly condemning a waitress’s attire during a family outing.

Pastor Dale Partridge, who leads King’s Way Reformed Church, took to his online channels to voice his disapproval of the waitress’s outfit, which he likened to lingerie. “It’s the kind of outfit our grandmothers would see as lingerie,” Partridge wrote, adding, “Make sin shameful again. Remember, shame pushes people to see their need for forgiveness, in Christ.”

According to  Pastor Dale Partridge, the incident occurred during a casual day trip with his family. Disturbed by the waitress’s appearance, he reportedly shared his concerns directly with the café owner before continuing his commentary online.

Pastor Dale Partridge argued that the normalization of revealing clothing particularly activewear was contributing to moral decline. “Just because it has the word ‘sports’ in front of it doesn’t change what it is,” he posted.
