Josh Baldwin marked his 45th birthday and shared a snippet of an unreleased song titled “Older,” which he co-wrote with his friend Nick Herbert.

The song, which Baldwin promises to release in the future, was inspired by their shared idea of God being older and greater than any life circumstances, whether good or bad.

Baldwin reflected on how life’s challenges, both positive and negative, can often feel overwhelming. He expressed comfort in knowing that the God of the universe, who he considers a friend, has everything under control. “He holds it all in His hands. He was before it all,” Baldwin wrote, emphasizing the timeless nature of God’s presence and guidance.

Baldwin expressed gratitude for walking in the shadow of God’s wings throughout his life. He conveyed a deep sense of security and peace, knowing that God has always been a lamp unto his feet.
