Pastor Joe Egbu and Sinach in partnership with Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries and The Joseph and Sinach Foundation is set to host a 2-day free medical care outreach in Abia State.
The free medical program will take place at the College of health science & management technology, Aba on Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th of August 2023.
Sinach noted on a social media post that over a thousand people will be taken care of during the free medical care program which is being set up by her and her husband.
She wrote, “Over One thousand people will be taken care of. It’s happening in Aba, Abia State. Thanks EMZOR PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES sponsoring the entire project.”
Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu (formerly Kalu) was born in Afikpo South, Ebonyi State, on March 30, 1973. Sinach is the second daughter of seven children.
In 1989, Sinach began singing as a hobby for her family and friends while working as a staff member and choir member at Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s church.
She received her degree from the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria, where she majored in physics. After graduating from university, she considered leaving Nigeria, but Pastor Chris Oyakhilome advised against it. As a young child, she dreamed of performing in front of great crowds, but she didn’t actively pursue a musical career beyond joining the choir and serving as a church administrator.
Sinach was a member of the Believers Loveworld Church’s administrative team before actively becoming a music minister. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome helped launch her music career by asking her to lead or participate in the worship before he taught. He also kept encouraging her and giving her words of confidence. She gained confidence in those words. In 2008, she officially released her debut album.
