The Gateway Church has announced the appointment of Daniel Floyd as its new senior pastor. Pastor Floyd, who founded Lifepoint Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia, will officially step into the role in August 2025.

Speaking about the transition, Pastor Daniel Floyd shared, “This isn’t just another step in ministry, it’s a sacred calling.” His appointment comes after a period of prayerful consideration by church leaders.

Pastor Floyd and his wife, Tammie, will be relocating to Texas to lead the congregation. Reflecting on their decision, Floyd said, “We sought wisdom from mentors and spiritual leaders, and with full confidence, we can say God has called us here.”

With over 20 years of ministry experience, Pastor Floyd is expected to bring strong leadership and vision to Gateway Church. The church’s elders expressed excitement about his arrival, emphasizing their belief that his leadership will guide the church into a new season of growth.
