In a recent instagram post, Chris Pratt boldly shared the powerful Bible verse Psalm 23 with 44 million followers.
Chris Pratt has always been outspoken about his Christian faith despite the backlash and criticism he receives from the public. But that isn’t stopping the actor from proclaiming Christ regardless of the circumstance.
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actor has over 44 million followers on Instagram and eight million followers on Twitter. And on both platforms, Chris shared a Psalm of David from Psalm 23:1-2.
He wrote, “The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me to Stillwater.”
Then he added, “Imagine being led to a still body of water and seeing your reflection, the face of one in want of nothing.”
Chris Pratt has revealed how he wasn’t surprised by people’s reactions because Jesus experienced the same.
“If I was of this world, they would love me just like that,” the actor remarked. “But as it is, I’ve chosen out of this world. That’s John 15:18 through 20. That’s the way it is, nothing new, 2,000 years ago they hated him, too.”
Christopher Michael Pratt rose to prominence for playing Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. He also appeared in The WB drama series, Everwood and had supporting roles in the films Wanted, Jennifer’s Body, Moneyball, Zero Dark Thirty, and Her.
