Hollywood actor Chris Pratt has taken on a new role as an executive producer for the faith-based documentary, “Fighting Spirit: A Combat Chaplain’s Journey.” The film premiered on November 8th in honour of Veterans Day, delves into the lives and sacrifices of military chaplains who have served on the frontlines.
“Fighting Spirit” tells the inspiring story of Emil Kapaun, a prisoner of war and Army combat chaplain whose remains were identified after 70 years. The documentary also highlights the untold stories of 419 U.S. military chaplains who have given their lives in service.
Pratt expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “The work done by combat chaplains to support our soldiers through issues of life and death on the frontlines is truly extraordinary. To be part of celebrating this story in such a cinematic way is an honor”.
