Blessing Offor Surprised With First Gold Record at Album Release Party
By Church News
Two-time GRAMMY nominee Blessing Offor was surprised with his first RIAA Gold Certification during the release party for his new album Real. The honour was presented by Brad O’Donnell, President of Capitol CMG, in recognition of Offor’s breakout single, “Brighter Days”.
“Brighter Days,” the lead single from his debut album My Tribe, earned the Gold status after achieving over 150 million views on TikTok and climbing into the Top 25 on the mainstream AC radio chart.
Real features 16 deeply personal tracks, which was written during a season of profound loss. In just 18 months, Offor endured the deaths of his sister, best friend and partner, and his mother.
