Bible app YouVersion has named Isaiah 41:10 as its 2025 ‘Verse of the Year,’ amid a global surge in Scripture engagement.

The passage reads: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

This marks the fourth time in six years that Isaiah 41:10 has topped the list, reflecting its enduring resonance among millions of users worldwide.

According to YouVersion founder and CEO Bobby Gruenewald, the verse’s popularity reflects a growing hunger for assurance in uncertain times.

He noted that people are increasingly drawn to Scripture that offers comfort and strength, adding: “Users are searching for what is real and true. The Bible’s relevance is still alive and active.”
