A youth pastor played a crucial role in capturing the suspect, Tyler Robinson in Charlie Kirk’s assassination. According to reports, Robinson’s father reached out to the youth pastor for help after recognizing his son in the FBI’s released photos. The father had confronted Robinson, who initially refused to surrender but later changed his mind after speaking with the youth pastor.

The youth pastor, who also works with the U.S. Marshals, contacted the agency and facilitated Robinson’s surrender. Authorities took Robinson into custody late Thursday, nearly 33 hours after the shooting. Governor Spencer Cox credited the assistance from Robinson’s family, saying, “We got him.” President Donald Trump announced the arrest on Fox News, stating, “With a high degree of certainty, we have him”
