Victor Osimhen has expressed appreciation for the role Christ Embassy Church and its founder, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, played during a formative period of his life.

Speaking in a recent interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Osimhen recounted a challenging season after secondary school when he paused football to support his family.

During that time, he became involved with Christ Embassy, assisting with outreach efforts such as distributing the Rhapsody of Realities devotional.
“Pastor Chris prayed for us, looked out for us, and even helped with food and accommodation,” Victor Osimhen shared, noting he stayed at the church for several months.

He added that the church community offered both practical support and encouragement. He said: “They were there when things were tough. It gave me hope and direction.”
