UK Charity Commission Freezes Over 100 MFM Bank Accounts

By Church News

The UK’s Charity Commission has taken decisive action against the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries International (MFM), freezing over 100 bank accounts belonging to the organization’s UK operations.

This move follows a thorough investigation that uncovered deep-rooted governance failures, weak financial controls, and misuse of church funds across MFM’s 90-plus locations in the UK.

MFM UK has disputed the regulatory findings, calling the inquiry flawed. However, the Charity Commission has emphasized the need for structured remedial governance oversight to protect donor funds and ensure accountability.
