The video, posted to X, shows Holden being gently lowered into the baptismal pool as Chris Tomlin’s “Jesus Messiah” plays softly in the background while the congregation erupts in applause as he rises, symbolizing his new life in Christ.

“Thank you Lord for this day 💙,” Traeshon Holden wrote in the caption, which has since garnered over 685,000 views.

Holden has been vocal about his faith throughout his football journey. After signing a three-year, $2.9 million contract with the Cowboys, he said: “The Lord don’t make no mistakes.”
