Gospel artists, Timmy Sax, Esther Igbekele and a host of other gospel artists including Elijah Akintunde, Yomi Apala, Bola Discovery, Mary Arowomole, The Jesus Poet and Amos Aluko have indicated their readiness to grace the 2023 Feast of Praise.

The Feast of Praise which is hosted by Pastor Israel Afolabi, will take place on April 28th at the Christ Apostolic Church, Ibudo Iyanu, Lagos.

The convener, Elder Gbenga Daodu has said that the 2023 edition is unique in every sense. “We could not hold the event last year due to some circumstances beyond our control, he said.

He added, “For the greater part of 2022, the Coronavirus pandemic was still raging. There was the need to maintain the safety and medical protocols of social distancing among others.

“The 2023 edition will make up for what we could not do last year. It is certainly going to be a refreshing time before God. So this year, it will be a double portion of praise feast and people will be greatly blessed as burdens will be lifted.”

Timmy Sax is a Psalmist, Songwriter, Composer, Saxophone Instructor and a Talented Gospel Singer. he has produced many albums and gospel hits in Folk Music and Tungba Contemporaries in the Nigeria Gospel Industry over the years

Esther Igbekele is a well-known female gospel musician who sings in Yoruba. Her genre of music is said to fall in the gospel pop category largely resembling the music of the likes of Yinka Ayefele and Tope Alabi.
