Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome declared 2022 to be ‘the Year of the Gathering Clouds’. “This year, the clouds of prayers, faith, and expectations would be full and begin to empty themselves upon the earth,” Pastor Chris remarked.

Reading an array of scriptures including Ecclesiastes 11:3, Zechariah 10:1, and 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18, he explained the essence of the former and the latter rains, describing the latter rain like that for a season of harvest in which we presently are.

Labelling the word of the year as a missile in the realm of the Spirit, Pastor Chris explained that while many clouds would gather, the most important gathering would be that of the saints around the world.

“This is the year of the gathering clouds and these clouds would fulfil their purpose,” the man of God posited as he rained prophecies of things to come in the year 2022.

Pastor Chris emphasized that the glory of God would be the defence of God’s people all year long and irrespective of the crisis that will envelop the world, the saints will soar through as victors.

Pastor Oyakhilome’s ministry holds meetings in the United Kingdom, the United States, Ghana and South Africa, and has healing school sessions in South Africa, Lagos and Canada. He was also the first to pioneer a Christian-based television network from Africa to the rest of the world.

He also held the largest single-night event held in Nigeria in 2006 with 3.5 million people in attendance “Good Friday Miracle Night”. Pastor Oyakhilome also hosts Higher Life conferences in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, the UK, US and Canada, and organized the Night of Bliss South Africa event at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

Oyakhilome also operates an International School of Ministry, which held one of its Ministers’ Network Conferences in 2016 with 5,000 ministers in attendance from 145 countries, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The President of LoveWorld Inc. and Christ Embassy runs an online prayer network using social media to send messages to Christians in several countries. He had over 1.2 million followers on Twitter in 2013, over 1.9 million followers on Facebook, and operates a smartphone messenger called KingsChat.
