The IMPACT 2.0 tagged “Transformed to Lead” was a Global Youth convocation organised by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry for the youths, Campus students, Corp members and young professionals from 30th September to 2nd October 2022 at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium (former Liberty Stadium), Ring Road Ibadan, Oyo state.Pastor Kumuyi who recently finished his monthly Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) at Minna, Niger State, hoped to use the opportunity to share the gospel and other life-changing teachings with thousands of young people in Ibadan and around the world.This year’s January saw the first edition of the programme, which featured Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, a Nigerian entrepreneur who co-founded Andela and served as the former managing director of Flutterwave; Dunsin Oyekan, a singer and worship leader; and Ibukun Awosika, a former chairman of First Bank of Nigeria and a successful businesswoman in her own right, were all present at the Convocation.Pastor W. F. Kumuyi had earlier said “this year, I am prioritising young people.” He is delivering on his word, this is the second time he held a meeting strictly for youths this year.Daniel Bamigbayan, president, of Youth Professional Forum (YPF) which is a section in the Church, had this to say about the first IMPACT program in January: “It is not enough to organise a programme; it is important that the event meets the needs of the target audience. Most of the feedback we have received from young adults and professionals suggests that the programme was timely and an answer to their prayers. It was an avenue of rekindling spiritual fire and the passion of young people to fulfil their purpose”.Dunsin Oyekan was the guest music minister at the programme, and he sang his new song, “Finger of God” at the programme.On the 2nd day of the programme, he shared on his Twitter account his excitement and anticipation, “#DL Army, Kindly go and listen to Finger of God and can’t be less amongst many others. Tomorrow we shall be singing it over our lives #DLconversation,” he wrote.Pastor William Kumuyi shared his thoughts on his Twitter account: “God is raising a new generation of a young army who are Transformed to Lead! An army ready to take on new responsibilities have been activated. The Global Youth Convocation was a resounding success. I went through the A-Z alphabets with teenagers, Campus students/young adults.“To my beloved Sons and Daughters, the world will make way for you in Jesus Name. You’re an Achiever.
