The Christian Legendary and Impact Makers Awards in Africa (CLIMA AFRICA) 2022 is set to hold at the Shell Hall, Muson Centre Lagos, on the 9th of October with the theme ‘Africa Is Rising’.

The theme ‘Africa is rising’ is a call for African gospel artists to unite wholly while using their God-given talents in their various ministries to capture and bring the industry to the limelight globally.

The event goes global as guests will be trooping into Lagos from different parts of the world.

The prestigious gospel award is set to honour twenty (20) African Impact Makers and thirty-three (33) Africa Gospel Music Artists/Promoters in
different categories.

Other impact makers to be awarded are:

Bishop Duru Sunday Junior –USA-President Duru Action for Humanity

Dr Dennis Inyang –Senior Pastor, Sureword Assembly(Nigeria)

Pastor Olawale Oseni – Defendis Group (Nigeria)

Hon. Dr Ugochukwu Williams –Youngest Presidential Aspirant PDP

Mrs Osasu Igbinedion Ogwuche –CEO, TOS TV Network/Host of The Osasu Show

Sihle Sibisi –Kwanele Foundation (South Africa)

Mr Ifeanyi Obi-CEO Hycinth Hair Limited

Pastor Eno Jerry Eze –Streams of Joy/NSPPD

Thembisa Mdoda-South African TV Presenter/Actress

Some gospel artists performing Live at the event are Peterson Okopi, Moses Bliss, Eno Michael, Aity Dennis, Tonneil Avo, Empress Gifty, Naomi Mac, Smokey Nyembe (South African Comedian) De Awesome Dance Crew etc.

According to Uwak Mike, the CEO of CLIMA AFRICA Magazines and Awards, the 2022 edition will be the best of its kind and will give birth to new ideas for a better 2023 edition.

He said, “The 2022 edition promises to be the best of all editions because the collaborations with partners from other African Countries will enable us to reach more Impact makers and Artiste whom we couldn’t reach in the past. Moreover, the introduction of new categories to celebrate Producers, Managers, Stage Performers, Gospel music legends, etc. is also a boost on our profile.”

Even though winners in music Categories are yet to be unveiled, it would be recalled that Sinach, Chidinma and Mercy Chinwo were also nominated for the CLIMA Africa Awards.
