The National Christian Cup, now in its thirty-third season, is scheduled to take place on the 29th of November 2025. The tournament serves as a bridge between football and faith, offering churches a unique avenue to share the Christian message.
Organized by Christians in Football, the competition invites players to combine their passion for the game with their commitment to ministry, making it one of the longest-running national events dedicated to faith-based sport.
Keith Hammond, director of Christians in Football and a veteran of the movement for over five decades, spoke to Premier Christian News about the tournament’s enduring impact. “It’s a wonderful ministry to be involved in,” Hammond said. “For many people who don’t know Jesus, with the gospel message, it’s a fantastic way of being involved in church.”
Hammond emphasized that the National Christian Cup is more than just a sporting event; it’s a tool for outreach. “It gives players an opportunity to reach out and… share in its blessings,” he explained
