The 2023 edition of Calvary Worship, scheduled to take place at the Winners Chapel Ghana’s auditorium this Sunday in Accra, Ghana, will offer patrons a true worship atmosphere.Organised by Minister Carl Clottey and the Gospel Vibe, the event marks its 10th Anniversary this year on the theme; “I AM THAT I AM” and seeks to create an intimate and spirit-filled environment for communing with the Creator.To meet the expectations of patrons, the 2023 Calvary Worship, will feature great artistes including Pastor Isaiah Alexandrah and South Africa’s award-winning female gospel singer, Putuma Tiso.Putuma Tiso who has already arrived in Ghana has been busy perfecting her stagecraft and is expected to charge the atmosphere with soothing South African tunes.On Wednesday morning, Minister Carl Clottey and Putuma Tiso appeared on Joy Prime TV to talk about the programme, what they hope to dish out, and their own expectations.According to Minister Carl Clottey, all is set for a wonderful experience at the programme.Minister Carl Clottey hails from Asere a typical fishing community in the Greater Accra Metropolis. Growing up, Carl received work ethic, tenacity, and discipline from his mentor “his dad” who is an astute music director in the Apostolic Church.As a teenager, he enjoyed their morning devotion that never elapsed without Pentecostal worshipful songs from his parents who assumed worship lead. Growing up on such rich Spirit-filled music and teachings Carl developed a strong urge to master his vocal abilities. He took to enjoying solitary life at the beach singing and creating songs. Inspired by his dad’s silky baritone gospel songs, Carl began singing gospel as a teenager.While Putuma Tiso is a gospel singer and songwriter from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape and based in Johannesburg Gauteng.She started her career off singing Jazz and has worked with legends such as Bra Hugh Masekela.
