Former Hillsong Worship lead singer and globally renowned artist TAYA releases new music with a radio version of “All About Jesus”.The track was originally featured on her solo debut album “Taya”, which was released last year. The world first heard TAYA on UNITED’s #1 worship anthem “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” which spent a record-setting 61 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Top Christian Songs Chart.Since then, her voice has become an unmistakable clarion call to worship across the world.Taya Smith’s career started after she relocated to Sydney, where she met Hillsong Church’s City Campus and became a volunteer in the church creative team and youth and young adults departments.Going to Sydney was a secular musical project, but she found herself in the church, where she began nurturing her passion for Jesus Christ and ministerial projects.Serving in the youth department started by being a member of the Hillsong church’s worship team, and later, she became a youth leader.Taya grew more in faith and started to wax stronger in worship ministration and love for the youths.Later, she joined Hillsong’s youth worship group known as Hillsong Young & Free and in the recording of their debut album called: We Are Young & Free. From there, she continued to embark on tours with the group. Smith was appointed a member of the church’s creative team and saddled with managing the vocal team, fostering productivity during the youth-adult events after recording a major breakthrough with Hillsong. She later established standard vocals in major Hillsong events and toured with the Hillsong musical band UNITED.Throughout her career, she banded with well-known gospel musicians such as Jad Gillies, Dylan Thomas, Michael Guy Chislett, Jonathan “JD” Douglass, Matt Crocker, and Joel Houston, among others. The singer credited her Hillsong United church family for helping train her up to be ready for this moment to stand alone. She said Joel Houston, son of former Hillsong global Senior Pastor Brian Houston and lead singer of United, was the first to encourage her to make her own album as early as five years ago. ALSO READ Benjamin Hastings Releases Debut Album
