The tour which promises to be an incredible gathering filled with heart-touching music, powerful performances, and heartfelt moments of praise will be held at the Authentic City Church in Manchester, UK.Steve Crown was born in Abuja. He became interested in music, when he was four and at the age of eight, he joined church choir (Saint John’s Anglican Church). Later he became a part of the well-known club Deacon Kids Band.Now, he continues to sing gospel songs in concerts, making videos for his songs, sending his message to the world and for this purpose, he founded Lakelight Entertainment.Lakelight is a family for its founder and was created to help young people find their place in this life, to save sinner souls, to teach youth to work hard for the achievement of their goals and to discover the Greatness of God.Unlike the usual little beginnings where artists are rarely announced by their debut singles but subsequent tracks, Steve thought it safe and wise to derail that orthodox path, and so for a start, he came all out with a hit single “You are Great”.He developed a love for drumming and according to him, he often irked his parents with his frequent drumming.He was more into visual arts and often did paintings, music was hardly in his future plans but destiny had to prevail. In his awe of God’s magnificence and mystery of creation, he was inspired to sing “You are great” and that was it.He never envisaged fame and the myriad of attentions, he just wanted to touch lives with his songs, he only needed to express how awestruck he was about the enigma of God’s existence.Steve today is preoccupied with ministrations around the country, which was an offshoot of the success of his hit single “You Are Great”.ALSO READ: The 2023 Sing!
