Selah, a contemporary Christian vocal trio consisting of Todd Smith, Allan Hall, and Amy Perry is celebrating 25 years in Christian music with the recent release of two highly anticipated full-length recordings, Put Your Hand In The Hand and At This Table: A Christmas Album.“We get letters and emails and people telling us after shows that they’ve let us into some of their darkest moments and I think it’s because we aren’t afraid to sing about hard things,” Hall says.He continued, “Sometimes, people tell us that while their loved ones were dying of cancer they were singing our songs to them as they were passing. Words can’t describe how that makes me feel. To be let into those moments and for us to have that privilege that God has let us take the gift of music and share it and do something that could help someone – is special.”Renowned for their impassioned interpretations of timeless hymns and classic songs of faith, 11-time GMA Dove Award-winning vocal trio Selah has showcased some of the most popular Inspirational songs of all time, Greatest Hymns Vol. 3 and All of My Praise.

Since the release of their 1999 Dove Award-winning Curb Records debut, Be Still My Soul, Selah has successfully introduced hymns and classic songs of the faith to a new generation of listeners using beautiful harmonies and “modern” musical sounds.

When founding member Nicol Smith Sponberg left in 2004 to pursue a solo career, she was replaced by Melodie Crittenden. A year later, Amy Perry took the place of Crittenden.

Their music, which features the passionate and impressive vocals and musical talent of Allan Hall, Todd Smith and Amy Perry, has gotten the group a total of six Dove Awards, two consecutive Dove Award nominations for Group of the Year, two #1 hits and five Top 10 singles, as well as repeat appearances on such respected television programs as “The 700 Club” and the “Hour of Power,” and even a chance to perform on the stage of New York’s legendary Carnegie Hall, among numerous other career highlights.
