Robbie and Donna Howells talked about the power of the Holy Spirit with Fergus Scarfe and Emma Abbott on the GOD TV Together show.Fergus asked the Pastors how the GOD TV family can have the confidence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Then, Donna shared, “I would definitely say this… to really hear from the Holy Spirit, you have to be born again.” Yes, we must accept Christ to be filled with the Holy Spirit.Moreover, she added that once God’s Word is in our hearts, it becomes part of our belief system. “You believe in your heart, and you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved…He goes from your head to your heart, then the Holy Spirit can come in, and you can start to hear the Holy Spirit,” she explained.Donna highlighted that there are cases when people who have been in church for a long time need to rededicate their lives to Christ. “We think, ‘But we were Christians, we were born again.’ Do you really know Jesus? Do you really believe in your heart?” she said.She shared John 4:24, “Jesus said to the woman in Samaria, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” Again, we need to be born again to experience the Holy Spirit moving in our lives.Robbie reminded the people that it’s only through a personal relationship with Jesus that you can know the Father. “You can go to church…You can think that you are born again and then wonder why am I struggling in life?… being led by the Holy Spirit is only something you can have when you are really giving your heart to the Lord,” Donna added.ALSO READ: Prophet Olu-Alo Donates Classroom Blocks
