The name of the Church “Harvesthouse”(now The Transforming Church) was inspired from Jesus’ words in Matthew 9:36-38:
Verse 36 “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd”. Verse 37 “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few”; Verse 38 “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest”. KJV
The Transforming Church connects people to their harvest through the preaching and teaching of God’s word.
The Church has been involved over the years in helping the less privileged, orphans, widows, and families in crisis and now have a registered organization that is responsible for helping the less privileged in the society, called the Harvesthouse Mercy Fondation.
