Rev. Austin Ukporhe Shares Story of Personal Redemption
By Church News
Rev. Austin Ukporhe, resident pastor of Remnant Christian Network (RCN) Lagos, has shared his journey from childhood trauma to spiritual transformation.
Speaking publicly for the first time about his past, Rev. Ukporhe disclosed that he was sexually abused at the age of seven, a traumatic experience that led him down a path of rebellion, addiction, and street life.
Rev. Ukporhe recounted how the pain of early abuse spiraled into years of anger and destructive behavior. “I was sexually abused at age 7 and became sex addicted until I was 19 years old when I encountered the Lord,” he said.
His life, once marked by gang culture and survival instincts, took a dramatic turn after a radical encounter with God. That moment, he says, was the beginning of healing and a renewed sense of purpose.
Now a respected minister, prophetic teacher, and mentor, Rev. Austin Ukporhe uses his platform to confront difficult topics and inspire others. His story is not just one of personal redemption but a call to the church and society to listen, heal, and believe in transformation.
He currently serves as a lecturer at Adullam Bible College in Makurdi and Fortress Bible Institute in Jos, where he teaches on ministerial ethics, healing, and end-time doctrines.
