RCCG Parish Offers Free Petrol To Church Members

The Bridge parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, filled tanks of members who arrived at church on Sunday, July 30th with petrol.
The parish is headed by Pastor Leke Adeboye, the son of the RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
In the advertorial floated by Pastor Leke on Saturday, July 29th, vehicles whose tanks were to be filled with petrol must come to the service “filled with people.”
The cars must also remain in the church until the end of church service by 11:30am.
The gesture was aimed at assisting members attend church services following the hike in fuel prices occasioned by the Federal Government’s recent petrol subsidy removal.
Pastor Oluwagbemileke Adeboye is the second son of the revered General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and Pastor Mrs Foluke Adenike Adeboye. He is also a Senior Personal Assistant to the General Overseer (Worldwide).
Though born in Lagos State, Nigeria, Pastor Leke Adeboye spent a good part of his childhood at the Redemption camp in Ogun State after the family relocated to the camp while he was just three months old. Growing up, Pastor Leke Adeboye attended the Command Secondary School, Apata, Ibadan and Kent Canterbury, England for his secondary school education before proceeding to the University of Hertfordshire, England for a degree in Aerospace Technology and Engineering. He also holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Project Management from Bournemouth University, England.
