The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) organised a thanksgiving service in honour of Pastor Joseph Garba, who retired from civil service.

The occasion was held at RCCG premises, Jehovah Shalom House, Dam Mercy Road, Gwagwalada,  Abuja, with the presentation of gifts to appreciate him for being dedicated and hard-working in the fulfilment of the church mandate. 

In his sermons, the zonal youth coordinator of RCCG Jehovah Shalom, Gwagwalada zone, which is also the ‘Youth Sunday Service’ same day, Mr. Auta Stephen, congratulated Pastor Joseph Garba for his meritorious service to the country and church ministry in particular. 

He said Pastor Joseph Garba has contributed diligently to the growth and advancement of the church, and the God he serves, adding that it is an accomplishment that should not be taken for granted.

While appreciating all that were present for the Thanksgiving Service Celebration, said the event calls for sober reflection in different ways,” noting that some were to be celebrated, while some were gone.
