RCCG Ordains 2,236 Assistant Pastors, 8,230 Deacons and Deaconesses

The 65^th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God started on Monday 7^th August 2017, with the ordination of 8,230 deacons and deaconesses and 2,236 assistant pastors were also ordained on Tuesday. They were called to the altar in batches by Pastor Adeboye.Ã¢â‚¬â€¹The National Overseer of RCCG, Joseph Obayemi presented the ordained pastors, deacons and deaconesses after the opening prayers. He congratulates those ordained and he told them he hopes they will show the confidence the church had in them. They were invited to the altar by the cleric for prayers and blessings from the elders and leaders of the church.They were charged with the message of Joel Olaiya, which he tagged Ã¢â‚¬ËœThe God of all Flesh, he told them not disappoint God but to release themselves for the use of the Holy Spirit, he told them that those who decide to move out of the presence of the holy spirit will be rejected by God
