RCCG Opens New Intensive Care Unit in Lagos

By Church News

On Friday, the Redeemed Christian Church of God opened a new Intensive Care Unit at the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State. The ICU, funded by Region 36, was named after the General Overseer of the ministry and his wife, Pastor Enoch and Folu Adeboye. At the event, Adeboye’s wife, who praised the project, said health is vital for humanity, noting that people should prioritise health over wealth. She said, “Even if you give millions to a person who is unhealthy, such a person would not enjoy it. Health is more valuable than prosperity. That means that whatever you may want to have materially today, have good health, seek good health.”The regional pastor, Dele Jayieoba, expressed his gratitude to the supporters of the project and emphasized the ministry’s dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility. He said, “Since we started as a region in September last year, we have adopted a culture of ‘only the best is good enough’.“This culture of excellence is what motivated us to do CSR in our region, our CSR should benefit the host community and this is the vision that led to the establishment of Enoch and Folu Adeboye Intensive Care Unit at the Alimosho General Hospital, Igando.”ALSO READ: Catholic Distance University Renamed, Plans Expansion
