RCCG Holds Royal Fathers’ Convention, Partners With Ondo State Government

He wrote, “Royal Fathers across Nigeria gathered at the Redemption Camp yesterday and today for their convention. Our Lord Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords so it is only proper to align with him.“It is my prayer that everything our royal fathers have lost, the ever-reigning king will restore unto them in Jesus name.”The Ooni of Ife, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and other Monarchs were captured in a video praying for the Adeboyes and the church.The RCCG General Overseer alongside Ooni of Ife and some royal kings were also seen wrapping the remarkable programme up with the cutting of the “Royal convention cake”.Also, sometime last week, as part of efforts to reduce acts of hooliganism, reduce involvement in crime and encourage teamwork amongst youths in Ondo state, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) partnered with the Ondo state government to renovate some sporting facilities in the state.The Ondo state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Bamidele Ologun, revealed that the renovation will commence before the end of the year.He said, “Having realised that government cannot develop sports alone, then we approached the church to come and partner with us in renovating the stadium, thank God they have accepted our offer.“The Church has sent their Director of Sports, Dr Paul Bankole, to assess the stadium and he promised that total renovation of the stadium will commence before the end of the year, while this will be done in recognition of the founder of the church, Pa Josiah Akindayomi.”ALSO READ RCCG Donates GH₵11,500 To National Cathedral Of Ghana
