Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has predicted that the exchange rate of the U.S. dollar may fall to ₦900 during President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s tenure.

The cleric made this declaration during a recent address to his congregation, emphasizing that Nigeria’s economic turnaround will require more than policy, it will demand divine intervention.

“The dollar will come down. I see it dropping to ₦900 during this administration,” Ayodele proclaimed, urging Nigerians to remain prayerful and hopeful amid ongoing economic challenges.

The outspoken cleric also forecasted a drop in the price of a 50kg bag of rice to ₦30,000 and petrol to ₦500 per liter, suggesting that President Tinubu’s economic reforms are on the right track if sustained.
