Premier Gospel Awards 2025 Celebrates Gospel Excellence

The Premier Gospel Awards 2025 brought together the UK’s most talented gospel artists, pastors, and fans at Indigo at The O2 in London. Held on September 19, 2025, the ceremony honoured outstanding contributions to gospel music, celebrating the genre’s power to inspire, uplift, and transform lives.

The event was hosted by acclaimed British actor David Gyasi, known for his role in Netflix’s “The Diplomat,” and Premier Gospel presenter Chantelle Johnson. The lineup featured world-renowned gospel artists, including Wayne Ellington, Ghetts, Melodees From Heaven, and The Big Sing.

Award winners included:

Best Female – NaffymaR
Best Group – Day Three Music
Best International – Dunsin Oyekan
Best Male – Eugy
Best Newcomer – DC3
Best Song – Lawrence Oyor & Gaise Baba
Best Video – Faith Child
Best Worship Group – Sounds of New Wine
Choir of the Year – Clive Brown & Urban Sound
Outstanding Contribution (Individual) – Angie Le Mar
Outstanding Contribution (Artist) – Ghetts

Premier Gospel Station Director Muyiwa Olarewaju OBE said: “The Premier Gospel Awards are about more than trophies, they’re a celebration of the incredible talent within the gospel community and the way this music continues to inspire, uplift, and transform lives. Last night was a true testament to the power of gospel.”
