Celebrated Nigerian gospel artist Peterson Okopi and his wife, Prudent Gabriel, have announced they are expecting their first child.

The couple shared the news in an Instagram video that featured Prudent cradling her baby bump, both dressed in elegant white ensembles with a caption, drawn from scripture, “Before you were formed, I knew you (God)”

Alongside the pregnancy announcement, the couple revealed they will be releasing their first joint single titled “He Is God” on September 1. The song, which features both Peterson and Prudent, is already generating buzz in gospel circles for its promise of spirit-filled worship.
