By Church News

Former Intel CEO, Pat Gelsinger has taken on a new role as the head of technology and executive chairman at Gloo, a faith-oriented technology firm based in Boulder, Colorado. A lifelong Christian, Pat Gelsinger aims to leverage artificial intelligence to create tools that serve faith communities, including virtual assistants and chatbots designed with ethical and spiritual values.

Gloo, founded in 2013, has been at the forefront of merging technology with faith-based initiatives. The company recently secured $110 million in growth financing to expand its AI capabilities. Gelsinger, who has been involved with Gloo as a board member since 2018, sees this as an opportunity to unite his passions for faith and technology.

In his new role, Gelsinger will oversee the development of AI-driven solutions tailored for churches and religious organizations. He believes that technology, when built with purpose, has the power to connect, uplift, and transform lives. This move marks a significant step in integrating advanced technology into the faith ecosystem, ensuring that AI serves as a force for good.
