Some pastors who were barred from Facebook as a result of posting their views on homosexuality and LGBT have created a social media platform known as Socialcross which serves as an alternative to Facebook. Within the space of 3 weeks of launching the website, it has gained 2,300 usersA West Virginia-based preacher and also the co-founder of the Socialcross platform, Rich Penkoski saysÃ¢â‚¬ÂThis is a place where we can all come together as people who believe in Christ who want to share with one another and learn from each other and do so without an environment of fear of having people report our post or Facebook blocking us for 30 days,Ã¢â‚¬Â Christian Post reports.Socialcross is going to be a platform where Christian can express themselves without being blocked, the pastors anticipate.Penkoski was spurred on to create SocialCross after his Facebook account was banned for 30 days on multiple occasions. Once, it was banned because Penkoski said he would ban anyone who posted the rainbow flag emoji on his ministryÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Facebook page.Ã¢â‚¬Å“The whole idea is that itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s a Christian site, run by Christians, designed by Christians and based on biblical principles,Ã¢â‚¬Â Penkoski explained. Ã¢â‚¬Å“But anybody and their brother can join so long as they understand that we are a Christian site run by Christians.Ã¢â‚¬ÂÃ¢â‚¬Å“LGBT members are welcome so long as they are not going to try to cram that garbage down our throats. If you want to come and ask honest questions and have an honest dialogue, you are more than welcome. But if the goal is to comment and force their lifestyle on others, that is not going to be allowed.Ã¢â‚¬Â He further said.
