Pastor Tunde Bakare, founder of the Citadel Global Community Church, recently visited President Bola Tinubu in Lagos. The meeting, held on Wednesday, June 4, focused on national matters and ongoing developments in the country.

Following the visit, Pastor Bakare shared that he had a private discussion with President Tinubu, though he did not disclose specific details. He expressed his hope for a better Nigeria, stating, “My vision is to see a nation that works in my lifetime, and I trust that God will help our nation.”

Pastor Tunde Bakare has previously spoken about Nigeria’s challenges and emphasised the need for thoughtful leadership. While he has been critical of some policies, he maintains that his goal is to offer guidance rather than opposition. His recent meeting with the president suggests a continued dialogue on national issues.
