More tributes flow in for the founder of the Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Pastor Taiwo Daniel Odukoya who passed on to glory on 7th of August, 2023.

Social media is still buzzing with the news of the death of the great icon and mentor, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, whose death still appears to be a shock. Here are some tributes that pour in from across platforms:

Olufemi Solomon: “I join the saints around the world to thank God for the life and ministry of this great man of God in the person of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.

“Before I knew him or ever listened to his messages, it was Pastor Bimbo Odukoya that I first met. Her program ‘SINGLES AND MARRIED’ was such a blessing. My Fellowship back then on Campus, OVCF OOU, hosted her in a two days program in 2004 and the results were amazing.

“Back then, I wondered what kind of man would put his wife in the limelight while he remained obscure? This speak volume about the depth of his self-confidence and his conquest over all forms of complexes.

“His Leadership proficiency was clearly demonstrated in the quality of people his apostolic and pastorate anointing had produced. Just in case you didn’t know, he Pastored the likes of Pastor Kunle Shoriyan, Pastor Ibukun Awosika and many others that are thriving in various spheres of Influence, that time and space won’t afford me the privilege to mention.

“Right now, he has joined the saint triumphant; he has joined the clouds of witnesses cheering us up on our journey. Your legacy will last in the Earth. Up there in Heaven, you will see the travail of your soul and be satisfied.

“I honour your consecration! I honour your labour in the vineyard of God! I honour your sacrifices for the course of the Gospel! Goodbye Sir!

Pastor Femi Emmanuel: “Pastor Taiwo Odukoya gone home? This is difficult for me to bear. Pastor T-that’s what I call him. We first met over 20 years ago at the Communion of Bible Faith Ministers at Living Faith Winners at Raji Oba, where we both served on The CBFM committee. From there, we drifted together, exchanging pulpits.

“We brought you to Livingspring Chapel Ibadan a number of times, and each time, you ministered your heart out. I have never met a more transparent, sincere, generous, and dependable human being than Pastor Taiwo Odukoya. Words failed to express my feelings. Well, God knows best. Rest in peace, my dear friend and brother. I love you. I love you, and I love you.

“Though tough were your battles but you fought gallantly and won. The storm violently rocked your boat but you rode on its wings to victory. Yes, we cry and mourn because we will miss you on this side of eternity-we still hear the echoes of your gracious words, see the reels of your exemplary life, admire the courage and strength of character you animated, wish you would have stayed long enough for us to enjoy the warmth of your fatherly embrace, great leadership, and life-changing guidance.

“But we know that you have exchanged this earthly tent for immortality and you are now present with the Lord. Indeed, you have fought the good fight of faith and have finished the race. Rest on!

“I trust that the consolation of the Holy Spirit and the comfort of Scriptures will strengthen the entire family of The Fountain of Life Church in Jesus name.

Olorunpomi Becky wrote: “This hits so differently and hard. I’m so speechless but this is what you taught and did – praising God in whatever circumstance. You touched everyone who knew you in one way or the other and we will all miss you. I thank God for the opportunity of working for and listening to you, sir. Keep praising Him with the host of heaven till we all join you to do same.”

Though we will undoubtedly miss him, when we consider his extraordinary career, we are reminded that genuine leadership is measured not just by accomplishments but also by the lives touched and the souls inspired.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s legacy will go on, motivating future generations to live with purpose, passion, and a firm commitment to make the world a better place. His life is a testament to grace, tenacity, and the lasting impact one person can have on the fabric of humanity.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya remains a ray of hope.
