Pastor Paul Emmanuel Releases Debut Album
By Church News
Pastor Paul Emmanuel, the senior Pastor of The Refiners Embassy has recently released his long-awaited debut album, The Other Side, alongside seven books.
The Other Side is a 12-track album featuring music stars like Nosa and Mike Abdul. Some of the tracks include Agbara, My Season, He Has Done Me Well, Amazing, Nothing Too Hard For God and others.
On the books, Pastor Paul Emmanuel, who also oversees Return/Release/Rainfall of the Apostolic Revivals, said: “I have been writing for quite a while but I just figured the time has to be right. I believe that if the books come out in their right seasons, they will make the impact they are supposed to.
On the release of his album, Pastor Paul Emmanuel stated: “The title of the album is ‘The Other Side.’ We know that everybody listens to music. Everybody loves music at some point. But the kind of music that we do are songs I know again are needed for humanity and people in this season.
“They are gospel songs but at the same time, they carry inspiration as well. They identify with the situations of people. They identify with the problems of people. They make people understand that no matter what you are going through at any point in time, you are not the first to go through it, you may not be the last but you can also come out of it no matter what the issues might be.
“I have been working on the album since 2019. In 2019, I went to pray somewhere sometime in the month of May. I had a vision. I am given to visions as well. I had an open vision where I saw a certain gospel music artist moving from one side to the other and I was moving from one side to the other. We met in the middle at some point and he was like, what was I doing here? I said you know me, I am a preacher and I know you as a popular gospel music artist.
“In the middle of our meeting, he gave me a baton and I gave him the one I had, he moved to where I was coming from, and I moved to where he too was coming from. I got to understand that from 2019, we are going to see people who are pastors become singers and people who are singers become pastors.”
Pastor Paul Emmanuel added, “If you watch the trajectory now a lot of these things are going on. The name of this artist is Sonny Badu, a Ghanaian artist who lives in America. Today he is also a preacher. He was a singer but now he has started his own church. And this is where my music started from.”
