Bishop Oyedepo Urges Youths to Stay Back, Help Rebuild Nigeria

By Church News

The Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has urged Nigerians, especially the youths, to stay and rebuild the country, instead of migrating to other countries.Bishop Oyedepo appealed in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun state. He identified human capital development as the most viable and stable stock that any country could ever invest in and charged the Federal Government to invest massively in human capital development to restore the “lost esteem” of the country.“There is the need for more investment in education because this is the bedrock of sustainable national development for any nation,” Oyedepo said. The cleric further urged the federal government to create an enabling environment for youths to thrive to reduce the teeming number travelling out of the country. He also called for re-orientation of the youths to enable them to know that travelling out of Nigeria is not the only way to achieving success.“Parents need to reorientate their children. Travelling out of the country is not the best as there are many youths stranded in foreign countries who could not come back home because of shame.“We all need to stay in Nigeria to rebuild and restore the lost esteem of the country. Everyone has a part to play in the recovery of his nation,” Oyedepo said.ALSO READ “This Season Determines Your Future” – Bishop David Oyedepo
