The Lagos State Director of Training of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Pastor Olugbenle Olumide, has urged Nigerians to stay encouraged assuring that all will end in praise despite the challenges confronting the country.

Pastor Olugbenle gave the assurance at the unveiling of the maiden edition of ‘The Encourager,’ a quarterly Christian devotional authored by Oluyinka and Olufunke Padonu.

He reiterated that the only way citizens can keep hope alive, and mitigate the high rate of depression is to draw encouragement from the word of God as emphasized in the devotional.

A co-author of the work, Yinka Padonu, describes the devotional as a rich resource for people to draw strength in times of despair.

While quoting from Hebrew 12:6,  he said, “lift up weary hands and strengthen feeble knees. The devotional is a compendium of scriptural thoughts that touch the core of human lives as presented by selected writers. Olufunke and I are only privileged to lead the team.”

Giving her perspective, Olufunke Padonu emphasized that the devotional will impact the lives of readers as well as mitigate against anxiety and fears of the unknown.

PFN is the National body which binds all Christian churches, Organizations and Believers who believe, experience, practice and cherish the Pentecostal experience as found and described in Acts 2:4.”
