In an interview with the School of Wealth (SOW), Pastor Leke Adeboye, son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, disclosed that he made his first one million selling rubber wristbands.”I made my first million selling wristbands, rubber to be precise.”Pastor Leke discussing secrets to financial freedom with School Of Wealthreveals that everyone wants to hit it big but forget the essence of little profit.
“Everybody else is always trying to hit the guy on the top, but they forget the little things, so you need to focus on the little things.”
He used a toothpick as a reference point, ”We use a lot of toothpicks in Nigeria; for example, who is supplying the toothpicks?”Leke Adeboye said that selling promotional gift items like rubber wristbands to a big Christian event with a small profit adds up.”Promotional gift items for those that are doing branding wristbands are just rubber. ”But if I sell enough of those rubbers with a very tiny margin profit of #50 or #100 at a big Christian event, it adds up,” he stated.Born on May 20th, 1982, Pastor Oluwagbemileke Adeboye is the second son of the revered General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboyeye and Pastor Mrs Foluke Adenike Adeboye. He is also a Senior Personal Assistant to the General Overseer (Worldwide).Though born in Lagos State, Nigeria, Pastor Leke Adeboye spent a good part of his childhood at the Redemption camp in Ogun State after the family relocated to the camp while he was just three months old. Growing up, Pastor Leke Adeboye attended the Command Secondary School, Apata, Ibadan and Kent Canterbury, England for his secondary school education before proceeding to the University of Hertfordshire, England for a degree in Aerospace Technology and Engineering.
