The special day was met with an outpouring of love and celebration from his family, church community, and followers. Leading the charge was Pastor Hagee’s son, Matt Hagee.

Taking to Instagram, Matt shared a series of heartwarming photos featuring himself and his father.

In a heartfelt caption, Matt expressed his admiration for his father, highlighting his roles as a father, mentor, teacher, provider, and pastor. He concluded with a loving message, acknowledging that “no one deserves to be celebrated more than you do today.”

In a separate post recognising the birthday and anniversary, Matt shared a video showcasing the couple being celebrated at church with a celebratory chocolate cake. The caption revealed, “We have 84 years of life and 48 years of marriage all happening today on April 12th. We celebrate and honour you, Dad and Momma.”

Hagee Ministries, founded by Pastor Hagee, now under the leadership of his son Matt, also took to social media to honour their founder.

In an Instagram post, the church expressed its gratitude for Pastor John’s lifelong service. “We’d like to wish our founding pastor, John Hagee, a very happy birthday,” the post read. “Thank you for your service to the kingdom, Pastor John. We love you.”
